Permaculture encompasses concepts such as agriculture, bio-construction, renewable energy, natural water treatment and the economy; Its main objective is to satisfy the needs of the human being without exploiting or contaminating natural resources.
There are two types of permaculture, the rural one that is found in large and open fields, and the urban applied in houses and cities; both seek to redesign these spaces to generate a positive impact on the care of the earth, the care of people and the distribution of waste in order to return it to the ecosystem again in a fair and adequate way.
Therefore, what is sought at all times is to achieve a habitat where human beings live in harmony with other animal and plant species.
The meaning of “Permaculture” (Permanent Agriculture) is the conscious design and maintenance of productive agricultural ecosystems, which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems. It is the harmonious integration of landscape and people producing food, energy, shelter and other non-material necessities in a sustainable way."
Permaculture A Designers' Manual, Bill Mollison (1988).
An easy way how we can carry out permaculture is by making our own gardens at home; In the following links you can see some videos with examples:
You can also buy different pots such as holes in the bottom to plant the plants and vegetables you want, and at the base of these pots place stones so that the earth does not come out, and plant the plants and vegetables you like.
